Pertussis update. Opie concerned for his legacy. Sam interviewed Lisa Lampanelli about cans of worms. Norton did some light Travolting.
Tom Papa in the petri dish. Boy Butter, cock-talk and a fist in the ass. Opie's childhood reminiscence and a pair of mentally-ill matriarchs.
Eminem gets some kudos, though not from a Jay-Z addled Sam. Hugs. Masseur #2 affidavit gets read, Jimmy provides color commentary.
Sacha Baron Cohen swervejob disappoints, gets the boots put to him. More cloud malarkey. Theology and probability and light-switches.

Opie apologises to Erock ... sort of. Explains why he feels yesterday's show was poor. A delighted Sam is in his element as the shit is stirred.

    1. Not a huge fan of the Papa, I'll admit, but he wasn't bad today. Maybe even pretty good.

I think he added to the show, the topics suited him, and he was engaged and sounded involved.

(Usual rule is, if they stink, they probably don't get their photo posted).

thanks for all the uploads dude, I listen everyday if i'm not up early enough for paltalk. Tom Papa is funny, and he's getting better. He's definitely a funny standup but he's getting what seems like more courage on the show. The travolta impression, although terrible was quite funny and I totally welcome him as a regular. He for sure doesn't make the show worse. Also so happy Florentine has been on as often as he has recently. Again, thanks.

I actually don't think Tom Papa is that funny, he was dropping so many bombs yesterday, and you could see Jim and Opie were not laughing at any of his terrible jokes (especially the Travolta ones). Tom Papa is a nice guy, easygoing, but just not that funny.

Fucking Papa and Opie with their superstitious bullshit. Really, Tom? You dream and things happen? Wow, that happens to literally every person. I guarantee he's never been like "Hey, this person will call me today" - it's always after the fact. The Opie with his 11 shit - if you have 11 on the brain you'll always see it. Jim barely says a word this whole segment because he knows how retarded it is.

Metalnick, how do you know there isn't something to what they're saying. You have to admit, the 11 shit with Opie was pretty fucking weird. Especially when he sees that ticket near his dad's car that has 011 on it. The probability of that happening out of pure coincidence is ridiculously low. Add to that the vanity plate he saw which read "ITSACLUE", at some point, you have to admit some of these things are too unlikely to have happened randomly.

I'm sorry, but how do you know what the probability of that happening is? Are you a a fucking mathematician who calculates probabilities? No, so shut your fucking superstitious trap

Lol believe it or not I am actually a statistician by trade (see my blog). And you don't have to be a mathematician to realize how improbable it is that Opie's "11" experience was nothing more than a series of weird, perfectly-timed coincidences. I don't know what the exact probability of that happening completely at random is, but I know it is infinitesimally small.
