    1. 'The aggregation of marginal gains', that's the mantra.

Even if stuck with a sluggish internet connection, there's a coupla small things that when combined together make a faster upload.

Remind me to write it up one day, screenshots and all that jazz.

  2. Hopefully this will restore my faith in o&a after that boring live Chicago show on Friday. Stick to the studio guys! The gigs they do are so moderated now that they just end up being just boring shows for people who aren't there to enjoy it.

    Or is just me??

    Thanks for the upload mate!

    1. I think you're on the money for the most part, although the Mimi Beardsely sing along was pretty funny.

    3. The Chicago one was a little screwy but I still liked listening to it, it would be much better to actually be there. I figure every once in a while it doesn't go perfectly, I'd still look forward to any other live show they do.

    4. No, I agree the Chicago show was a dud.

    5. My issue with live shows isn't the fact the they are boring, it's that they are just all over the place. Hard to focus. I went to the last live show at the hard rock, and it's much better in person.

Though the fact that they are doing live shows gives me hope they are going to resign with Sirius. I really don't like the idea of them doing a podcast. Doesn't feel right.

  3. the thing that sucks about live events is when they do shit like cherry darts. I don't want to listen to people play that. its fucking boring.

  4. Chicago was pretty lackluster, but I sorta figured it would be going in. I mean "Odd Things You Own" and "Bad Breath Contest"? Can't really expect much from that.

  6. Thanks for the upload. Let me guess, Jimmy pretends not to know a band/song for indie cred.....then knows it the second it starts playing? I'm going out on a limb.

  8. totally OT, but this was posted on O&A's fb today:

"Trying out a new bit here...Are you having relationship problems or need sex advice? Amy Schumer is here to help! Please send all questions to: opieanthony@siriusxm.com and Amy might be able to help! Any questions or comments posted on Facebook will not be used."

they really need to stop trying to make amy schumer happen. it just doesn't work. and she's not patrice.

    2. she's friends with jimmy, that's why.

i'd rather listen to four hours of tom papa giggling than ten minutes of her.

    3. when they rate girls of her calibre as dimes it immediately puts into question every other chick they rate as hot that we, as the beloved and handsome listening audience, cannot see.

she's endemic of a facet of the show i don't like at times, where they all appear to see themselves as being vital and relevant in spite of their shortcomings. they get together, speak of the road, 4th july parties, rib each other but an air seems to be present of "we're the shit". i only seem to detect this when she's in studio!?!?

at the end of the day, they are radio jokers and comedians. they aren't a life force that is keeping america nor the world running*. just cheap laugh entertainers and i hate when the perception that it's anything more than that is telegraphed.

      * this goes out to every comedy podcaster as well.
