    1. Yes flagged for copyright after a few hundred downloads.

Don't think I can extract the song which I think triggered it, they are still talking over it.

Will add a few extra Alt links, gimme a few minutes, but we might be done for HulkShare today.

    2. I downloaded the show before it got flagged. Specifically which song was it?

Hopefully it should be on YouTube soon.

    3. Gotta be Sinatra. Also, weird that I really want to stay at the Carter now? I also want to turn it into New Jack City's Carter, but that's a different topic for a different day.

    4. Or Radiohead I suppose....or whatever song will also be played that I haven't heard yet. This is what happens when you try to be smart before listening to the whole thing, kids.

    5. Generally if they talk over enough of any song, you'll usually get away with it.

HulkShare doesn't report what caused the block, just says copyright, so it's a guessing game.

Tried uploading an edited version, which also just got yanked. Maybe give it another shot ... have another guess.

    7. I realize that you don't have an actual answer, I just didn't want to ignore a direct request from the man of the house.

    8. No, it actually took longer than it should to fix because I was concentrating on finding the problematic song-song. Tried them all individually and none were being flagged... took a minute to figure-out.

It was the fucking opener, they didn't start talking straight away, and that extra crystal-clear loop or two of 'Street Fighting Man' was enough to trigger the copyright detection.

So all this time we've been 4 or 8 bars away from every show being blocked, it was just waiting there to bite us in the ass today.
Lesson learned, that fucker will be getting trimmed if it goes over a couple of bars without being talked-over.

  5. Jesse Joyce?! Wow.. I never thought I'd see him on the show even though he frequents a rather unfunny New York podcast.. (Keith Malley's piece of shit, 'Keith & The Girl'.. listener from it's start to their bullshit relationship book).

    1. Try again babycakes. New links.

There is definitely some sort of intermittent problem with the HulkShare loader or storage. Both the local file and the file that was remotely sent to HulkShare was full length, and plays fine. Just checked them.

What Hulkshare stored was truncated (and then replicated when HulkShare was used as a source for Alt Links).

Have re-uploaded using a different slower method.
That's twice that this has happened in the last week or two. Will need to be watched.

    2. They all work fine (I just re-checked them), and they all have lots of downloads counted against them.

What are you seeing, or not seeing when you click the links?

    1. There's a link to Ted's O&A Emporium on the right side of the page, and sterngeek.com also records the show.
